Davidelfin, Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2011
Knowing that Davidelfin show the spring-summer 2011 collection presented last week in New York, comes to mind the word “tautology” which means to repeat the same thought expressed in different ways. And that’s more or less what he has done, repeat the same collection in two different scenarios.
In Madrid also have noticed the anticipation of the parade, as a reference Davidelfin is our gateway and had wanted to see up close a collection marked by disorganization, blue, black and white ribbons as a harness belts. A classic designer as muse Bimba opened and closed the runway.
The geometry and the use of colored ribbons extends to handbags convertible backpack. The shoes created for the occasion by Christian Louboutin deserve special mention, blue, black and beige are the colors chosen.
And to complete this review, the front row. Familiar faces like Carmen or Nuria March Lomana not want to miss the parade. The keynote was the pants, high waisted, loose or tight, combined with high-heeled shoes and boots.

Teresa Helbig and Alazne Bilbao, Cibeles L’Oreal prize
As a postscript to this edition of Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week have given the traditional awards by L’Oreal for Best Collection and Best Model. Almudena Fernandez was responsible for presenting the awards and announce the winners. There have been surprises.
The designer Teresa Helbig has been with L’Oreal Award for Best Collection for their propeusta ‘Number 6′. Pretty Alazne Bilbao, star of many of the parades, has been chosen as the Best Model of the catwalk.
No objections regarding the election of Alazne. The award for Best Collection and is more controversial. Teresa Helbig has succeeded with one of the largest collections of this issue seventies, inspired by the muse of photographer David Hamilton londisense. How about the decision?
