Gucci, autumn-winter season 2010-2011
It’s time to learn about the campaigns of the major fashion brands for next season. This time I approached the proposal for Gucci, which has relied on renowned photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott as architects of the campaign.
Despite being the fall-winter season 2010-2011, the images could be described as warm and summery. Photographers have photographed Raquel Zimmermann, Joan Smalls and Nikola Jovanovic, reflected an atmosphere of warmth, almost suffocating, with the arid desert of Marrackeck as a stage.
The premise of the campaign is simple: three people (two women and one man), they are thrown in his car in the middle of the desert. Desperate, desolate, afflicted, but without losing a bit of glamor and sensuality.
The autumn-winter collection 2010-2011 of Gucci is marked by a warm color palette predominantly brown, camel, sand and gold. Clean lines and minimalist, which is seen an influence of ’70s style.
